Job Description:

We are seeking a Steamfitter to:


  • Use their knowledge of all methods, procedures, practices and tools of the Steamfitter trade.

  • Install and maintain refrigeration systems, hospital and HVAC equipment.

  • Have the ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and diagrams.

Education:
Minimum – High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred – Five (5) year steamfitter apprenticeship.

Work Experience:

Minimum – Three (3) years of service work experience.

Preferred – Three (3) years of construction/installation of mechanical systems.

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum – EPA certification completed within six months of hire. Journeyman certificate.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:


  • Valid Driver’s License.

  • Possession of good customer service skills.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications.

Physical Requirements:
Very Heavy:  Ability to lift over 100 pounds with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing over 50 pounds.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position, scheduled for 40 hours per week.  The position is to be scheduled day shift, Monday - Friday, from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with on-call rotation.  Hours may vary depending on the operational needs of the department.
