Dura-Line is growing fast, and we need some extra support in our People Team in Sandersville & Tennille, GA.

Title:                 Human Resources Specialist

Job:                  3-6 months, Temporary Assignment with the possibility of being extended.

Location:         Sandersville & Tennille, GA

Hours:             Monday - Friday Flexible 40 hours a week to help cover all shifts in our 24/7 facility.

Pay:                  $20/hr - $30/hr DOE

 

Main Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for ordering, organizing, and storing of office supplies & HR promotional materials and maintaining inventory, employee’s PPE & uniform, gift cards, HR materials, and clothing in support of employee needs in addition to tracking & managing documentation & paperwork. Vendor management experience is a plus

  • Collaborate with operations on various local HR processes such as new hire orientation arrangements, written offers and interview assistance for walk-ins, open enrollment communication, items that are ordered & provided (PPE, uniform, gift cards, etc)

  • Assist on directing employees to the proper HR person with regards to FMLA, leave of absence, timesheets/payroll issues, employee relation/investigation issues, Worker’s compensation, random drug screening, de-escalating situations and assisting in conflict resolutions. Familiarity with local HR laws & regulations is required

  • Regularly communicate employee issues to the operations team to improve local HR support for employees on people processes

  • Maintain accurate databases and prepare reports as required and helps identifying and documenting people team processes

  • Assist with managing workflows for the department

  • Performs such individual assignments as supervisors and superiors may direct while maintaining an effective working relationship within the department and the facility. 

 

Qualifications:


  • We need a driven & proactive individual with outstanding attention to detail that is comfortable working in a multi-site fast-paced manufacturing environment

  • A self-started that is organized and has great problem-solving skills to be able to keep track of multiple tasks/request

  • Must be a team player with great customer orientation and that can work with global cross-functional team and can be a quick learner and quick decision maker

  • A year in human resources as generalist, onsite HR manager, onboarding specialist, HR specialist or admin that has supported operations & HR departments (benefits, compensation, talent acquisition and development, preboarding, onboarding, new hire orientation, timesheet adjustments/payroll, etc) in a process-driven Manufacturing company

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with

  • Computer savvy: including the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).

  • Must have intermediate to expert level of excel and able to manage data, do pivot tables, create dashboards & processes

  • HRIS systems like (DayForce HCM, SAP SuccessFactors) is a plus

  • Strong organizational and project management skills, detail oriented and ability to meet deadlines, documentation & data management required

  • Experience in lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, standard work instructions is preferred

  • Technical writing skills (developing training documentation); Data management and data auditing experience
