Program Manager - Education Partners at Bright Horizons Children's Centers

We're currently searching for an experienced program manager to join our team and continue our tradition of success. As a Program Manager, you will be a member of the product management team; you will collaborate across departments to deliver high quality solutions and outcomes for our clients and education partners. The ideal candidate will have a sharp business mind and a proven ability to strategize and implement high-level program initiatives. As a leader, you will have a strong talent for project coordination and delegation. You are also motivated by the desire to optimize productivity and nurture program success from inception to completion.

Objectives of this Role


  • Develop 3rd party relationship and internal operations assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement.

  • Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives

  • Maintain organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance throughout program lifecycle.

  • Oversee multiple project teams, ensuring program goals are reached.

  • Manage 3rd party Education Provider relationship and deliverables.

What you will be doing:

  • Project Management

  • Work closely with product management and cross-functional teams to plan and develop scope, deliverables, requirements, required resources, work plan, and timing for new education provider initiatives.

  • Manage day-to-day program and project teams, coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives.

  • Monitor, report and follow-up on the status and next steps of all project components.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects.

  • Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for management and stakeholders.

  • Effectively identify, adjust for and communicate downstream impacts of project changes

  • Able to navigate project changes effectively, remove barriers and coordinate with a variety of cross-functional project team members.

Communication


  • Hold regular status meetings with project team and education providers.

  • Effectively communicate relevant project information to project team.

  • Adjust communication strategy and approach of team to match the needs of specific business groups, individuals and partners and ensure that all materials created for communicating and facilitating discussion of intended approach are carefully tailored to the intended audience to ensure that business owners are able to give complete and accurate feedback

  • Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion

  • Understand how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully

Teamwork


  • Effectively utilize each team member to his/her fullest potential

  • Motivate team to work together in the most efficient manner

  • Keep track of lessons learned and shares those lessons with team members

  • Mitigate team conflict and communication problems

What we hope you will bring to the role:


  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field

  • 5+ years in an advanced management role with project management responsibility (preference given to those with program management experience)

  • Exceptional leadership, time management, meeting facilitation, and organizational skills

  • Knowledge of working with 3rd parties, preference given to those with higher education partner experience

  • Outstanding working knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes.

This position is open to being a fully remote role.

The compensation for this role is $90,000-95,000, with flexibility depending on experience.
