Kforce has a client that is seeking a UX Writer in Irvine, CA.
Summary:
The UX Writer will maintain company proprietary software and direct the content strategy and design of new products, features, and enhancements. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to improving our users' experience through copy. The UX Writer will work with Product Designers, Product Managers, and others to identify how to improve experiences through informative, engaging language across a verity of contexts from UI components, interactions, and content designed to help the user.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
UX Writer will be responsible for turning sometimes complex concepts into clear and compelling copy
Work with key stakeholders from other areas such as our legal and compliance teams to make sure that compelling copy is also compliant
Evolve the product tone of voice guidelines: UX Writer will help raise the bar for all product communication, driving consistency and further developing our voice and tone guidelines as part of our wider foundational design system
Strengthen our brand: Work closely with our marketing team to make sure the copy you write to help clients use our products is also consistent with our brand tone of voice
Influence projects from a UX copy perspective: Bring stakeholders together and foster relationships around common goals and priorities that are lead with delivering a customer first approach through all written aspects
As a UX Writer, you will collaborate with product designers to craft user journeys and product narratives that meet users where they are and guide them to where they want to go
Be a tireless advocate for the client point of view
Researching and incorporating industry best practices and innovation into our information infrastructure
REQUIREMENTS:
Significant experience designing and delivering world-class digital experiences
Interest in the finer points of wordsmithery
Experience working with product managers and UX designers, and a portfolio that demonstrate a history of successful results
Experience with content standards and best practices for web and mobile interfaces
