Kforce has a client in Cambridge, MA that is seeking an R&D IT BA/PM. We are looking for a contractor to serve in a joint BA and PM role to support upgrade of Genedata Screener.
Responsibilities:
The R&D IT BA/PM will work with the Business and Technical stakeholders to gather, understand, and document as-in and to-be business requirements and translate them into testable business solutions and platform features
Own and manage delivery of project milestones on-scope, on-time, and on-budget in a cross-functional, matrixed setting
The R&D IT BA/PM will develop documentation such as Process flow diagrams, use cases, requirements specs, test cases, SOP, etc.
REQUIREMENTS:
College degree in Science or Engineering (preferably in Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Chemical or Biological Engineering, or a related discipline); Advanced degree desired
B.S. in a relevant discipline with 3+ years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Project Manager, Process SME, or Software Developer; Or M.S. in a relevant discipline with 1+ years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Project Manager, Process SME, or Software Developer; Or Ph.D. in a relevant discipline with 0+ years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Project Manager, Process SME, or Software Developer
1+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Project Manager, Process SME, or Software Developer supporting implementation of any of the following - scientific informatics solutions, scientific data and/or workflow management solutions, scientific data analysis solutions, solutions for regulatory submissions to health authorities
Experience with High-throughput Screening and/or High-content screening desired
Experience with Genedata Screener or ActivityBase desired
Ability to analyze work and data flows, data processing and transformations, and user habits and behaviors
Experience with requirement gathering and authoring of documents and specifications
Experience with functional and/or technical testing
Familiarity with project management and SDLC in agile and waterfall frameworks
Some experience in programming or data analysis using a modern programming language
Understanding of Good Documentation Practices and GxP regulations
Familiarity with drug discovery and development
