Job Summary 

Equifax is  seeking  a Senior Director, Technology Information Security Officer (TISO) who will be  responsible for the relationship between Equifax’s central Global Security function, and the Workforce Solutions Technology Team, consisting of over 1000 developers, site reliability engineers, architects, and other IT professionals.

What you’ll do :


  • Perform  security risk assessments, including inherent risk, knowledge of severity indicators such as CVSS, analysis of business impact and compensating controls, validating control effectiveness, computing residual risk


  • Work with a formal risk governance mechanism, such as a Governance Risk and Compliance tool workflow, through which individual risk findings are documented, analyzed, accepted, and tracked and managed


  • Develop, formalize and operate  security business processes


  • Ensuring coordinated, effective, and efficient service delivery from Global Security to Workforce Solutions


  • Ensuring the coverage and operating effectiveness of key security controls in the Workforce Solutions technology environment


  • Devising and operating a leveraged, risk-based method for coupling centralized product security resources to the Workforce Solutions technology team


  • Develop and continually refine metrics and provide reporting to peers and senior executives


  • Managing projects, programs, and initiatives of significant size and scale, especially where information security resources had to be prioritized based on risk


What you’ll need :


  • B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, etc. or Bachelor's in MIS, Business Administration, etc.


  • 10 years of work experience in IT and information security combined, or equivalent sustained demonstrated responsibility and results


  • 5 years of work experience in information security, or equivalent sustained demonstrated responsibility and results


  • 3 + yrs of technical experience participating in / leading compliance assessments and audits


  • 3+ yrs of experience in technical application security, infrastructure security, system administrator / site reliability engineer, vulnerability manager or security architect


  • 2+ yrs of experience analyzing threats, risks, and controls;  producing written risk documents


 

What could set you apart :


  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)


  • Current CISSP or other industry-standard information security certification


  • Understanding of Cloud Service providers


  • Previous experience at or above the Director level (or comparable within industry sector)
