Strategy Deployment and Business Operations Consultant
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Works independently to maximize the returns of the BU investments through coordination, facilitation, analytics, and best practice development of business decision making processes, leveraging depth of work experiences
Guide the SBP development and Check & Adjust processes to create business unit plans needed to meet long-term business commitments.
Facilitate the ABP (annual business plan process) to create one year business plans to ensure delivery of short-term business requirements.
Enable the delivery of AOP (annual operating plan) through facilitation of annual process, leveraging key content owners and subject matter experts across functional teams
Lead business unit prioritization processes to ensure resource allocation flows to highest priority projects aligned to strategic priorities
Monitor process adherence and improvement opportunities through participation in monthly S&OP cycle and brand meetings, providing complete yet concise reviews for brand teams while meeting Global S&OP standards.
Execute Business Unit Communication Plans
Partner with business unit leaders to design and execute team operating processes and systems, both short and long term in nature including scorecarding, metrics tracking to identify complex issues that cross functional boundaries
Provide thought leadership to identify and lead strategic business level initiatives that continue to challenge the team towards full potential thinking
Serves as key contributor in the development of business processes and operational plans in support of the business strategies and global standards.

Analytical and Quantitative: Strong analytical and quantitative skills and the ability to independently generate strategic insights from data.
Written and Verbal Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, including strong PowerPoint / deck-writing skills; capable of catering a message appropriately for a given audience
Structured Problem Solving: Brings structure to ambiguous problems and possesses the ability to frame key questions and develop a workplan to answer them.
Project Management: Ability to scope projects, deliver results against set expectations, timelines, budgets, etc.
Initiative and Motivation: Highly motivated self-starter who is performance driven.
Engaging and Collaborative: Enjoys working in a team environment.
Consumer (CPG and Retail) Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of key players, dynamics and trends, key industry analyses and metrics, etc.
Influence and Stakeholder Management: Ability to manage and influence senior-level stakeholders.
Knowledge and Enthusiasm for K-C: Knowledge of the K-C organization, brands, metrics, etc.; enthusiastic about the potential strategic options facing Kimberly-Clark.
Agile and Versatile: Demonstrated track record of success working in a fast-paced setting.
Scope of Experience: Experience working in the context of a large, complex, global organization where working across boundaries and leading through influence are keys to success considered a plus
Executive presence and facilitation skills. Ability to interface, communicate with, and influence multiple functions and leadership levels
LEAN/AGILE/Continuous Improvement experience
Education required/preferred
Bachelor’s Degree in business related fields such as Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain.
Experience
Minimum of 8+ years of experience in a consumer or strategy focused role or another equivalent combination of education and experience.
