PURPOSE OF POSITION

This position requires delivery of product ordered to various local locations in a timely and efficient manner for our customers.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES

• Driving a 53' truck in a safe and orderly manner.


• Daily yard checks of trailers in yard notating whether full of product or empty.


• Deliver paperwork daily to office regarding signed for deliveries.


• Perform other duties as assigned.

DECISIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for maintaining the delivery truck in good condition, keeping fuel in the truck


• Must adhere to all state laws and drive responsibly.


• Must remember to obtain proper signature(s) upon delivery of product.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Must have a current CDL A driver's license.


• Must know how to drive a forklift properly and safely.


• Must know how to use a pallet jack to move product.


• Should know how to use a map to deliver product to the proper location.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ WORKING CONDITIONS

• Must be able to lift 25-50 pounds of product if needed.


• Must be able to drive safely to deliver product to customers.


• Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions in a safe manner. This includes rain, snow, and sleet, day and evening hours, hot and cold conditions.


• Safety glasses are required at all times to protect against dust and particles.


• Must be able to work in or travel through the manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, fumes and dust particles.


• Must be able to withstand both cold and hot conditions, depending on location and weather.


• Must be able to travel throughout the facility to obtain information needed to perform job functions.
