HOURS:  This position will work full-time with 3-4 days as an MDS Nurse and then will also have the responsibility of Infection Control and supporting our Director of Nursing with monitoring and reporting.         

POSITION DESCRIPTION:  Our MDS Nurse ensures the quality of care by monitoring, assessing and maintaining records regarding minimum data sets and coordinating these efforts with members of the Interdisciplinary team; Coordinating and leading the Interdisciplinary team through the care planning process;  Providing information to the staff regarding care requirements, assigning assessments to be completed, monitoring and assisting in the evaluation of work performed by the Team;  Having a thorough knowledge of the Department of Health and Federal Regulations to assist in remaining in compliance. 

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from an approved school of Registered Nursing and current licensure by Ohio State as a Registered Nurse BSN or equivalent preferred.  RNAC certified preferred.  MDS experience preferred.
