  1. Produce quality product which meets all quality specifications.

  2. Property identify product with labels and/or markings.

  3. Package product to prevent damage, label for proper identification.

  4. Identify non-conforming parts/products and communicate to supervisor.

  5. Order operating materials as required, purchase locally as required.

  6. Monitor work activities and assist as required to ensure personnel remain on task.

  7. Read and understand all written instructions to product product.

  8. Listen to and understand all verbal instructions to produce product.

  9. Assemble raw materials into quality product using a variety of machines and tools.

  10. Perform required inspections with appropriate tools.

  11. Record daily production results on required forms.




REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES



  1. Able to read and interpret numbers and letters on labels.

  2. Must have basic math skills.

  3. Must be able to operate a computer keyboard to enter data with accuracy.

  4. Must be able to maintain a good filing system.

  5. Measure pallets to determine pallet count.



DECISIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  1. Communicate errors and rejected stock to the supervisor.

  2. Have the errors corrected before cycle count is entered into the computer system.

  3. Audit data entry and make corrections as needed.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS


  1. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds to shoulder length; 35 pounds above the shoulders and assist in lifting 51-90 pounds or bulky items.

WORKING CONDITIONS


  1. Must be able to work in a manufacturing warehouse environment of up to 500,000 square feet.

  2. Must be able to work in noisy, dusty areas to include moving in and around closely spaced pallets and other work products.

  3. Must be able to withstand both hot and cold atmospheres depending on weather conditions working without temperature control; may be for extended periods of time.

  4. Must comply with safety precautions and wear appropriate PPE when required.

  5. Must adhere to company safety regulations in all areas of the facility.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS


  1. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  2. Must be able to operate a computer with accuracy and efficiency

  3. Must have manufacturing experience in a warehouse and inventory control.

  4. Must be able to obtain forklift certification within six (6) months of initial employment.
