Position Summary:
The Sr. Manager of Supply Chain is a member of the global Protein Ingredients leadership team. In this role, you are responsible for building and managing our global supply chain and co-manufacturing partners as we launch the Proteins Ingredients business globally. As such, you will be involved and play a significant role in decisions around logistics, warehousing, purchasing of materials, inventory management, finished goods distribution, capacity planning, master scheduling, and inventory control all within the context of a global SAP system.

Major Opportunities and Decisions:
* Develop supply chain management strategic plan and provide leadership to establish supply chain operations within the Start-Up phase of the Protein Ingredients business unit
* Ensure issues regarding new or existing products are resolved in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
* Work with internal and external stakeholders to develop supply chain strategies to maximize productivity and minimize risks
* Supervise Supplier Relationship Manager responsible for day-to-day management of global manufacturing partners.
* Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements, ethical standards, and sustainability goals related to procurement
* Lead and coach others in maintaining excellence on GMP, quality control and safety
* Participate in the implementation of Bunge's SAP systems supporting business growth.
* Develop and manage supply chain forecasts using statistical methods and business intelligence tools.
* Communicate Supply Chain matters through a weekly meeting, and a monthly meeting with Protein Ingredients Team
* Identify gaps within Supply Chain resources and staff accordingly
o Build a corresponding Supply Chain team and foster talent development
* Coordinate sales forecast with supply forecast and assist in resolving supply gaps
* Establish and monitor all goals and KPI's
* Responsible for identifying the need and a network of contract manufactures and co-packers
* Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Procurement, R&D, QA, Operations and finance to ensure readiness for future global growth
* Negotiate contracts and work with the legal department to develop legal contract structure and strategy. Ensure suppliers and copacker's adhere to contracts and meet all requirements
* Address and handle all customer complaint issues appropriately
* Monitor and ensure the timely completion of all purchase orders, invoices, freight, and orders

Core Functions:
* Design, implement, integrate and maintain global supply chain.
* Identify and set up relationships with co-manufacturers with value-added offerings (further processing, bagging, blending, etc.) and manage corresponding Supply Chain
* Responsible for identifying and implementing warehousing and logistical partners
* Integrate new Protein-related capabilities into the Business Unit / Bunge organizational structure
* Maintain and build upon existing relationship with existing partners and maintain oversight of quality and functionality as well as continuing key role regarding price negotiations
* Participation in the definition of business growth strategies at a global level (portfolio, markets, trading partners, prices, margins, priorities, supply chain, etc.) and business critical decisions
* Work with key internal stakeholders across the value chain to enable excellence in operations and unlock value contributing to profitability
* Support the development, training and on-going use of SAP Supply Chain modules with in the Protein Ingredients Business Unit

Skills/Experience Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations or related business discipline required; Master's or MBA degree preferred
* Advanced certifications are a plus or demonstrated work experience
* Minimum 10 years of progressive supply chain management experience
* Experience leading a cross-functional team and effective influence skills required
* Strong experience in use and integration of SAP supply chain modules in a global setting
* Ability to understand market flows both internally, externally and globally
* Effective communication skills, including presenting
* Problem solving and critical thinking skills required
* Strong negotiating and relationship building skills required
* Ability to lead and implement change
* Ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed environment
* Experience working within a "Start-Up" environment desired
* Strong-team player, comfortable working in a cross-functional team setting
* High degree of business acumen
* Self-starter
* Prior supervisory experience required
* Excellent analytical and negotiation skills are required
* Proficient SAP Supply Chain management skills
