The Drive Team Truck Driver is responsible for driving and operating a tractor trailer truck, heavy duty truck, and/or equivalent in accordance with established safety procedures and guidelines set forth by the DOT (Department of Transportation), for the safe hauling of cargo to and from specified destinations. This position requires working a rotating shift schedule (days/nights). This position will work under the direction of a Trucking Supervisor, with a dotted reporting line to an Operations Manager.
Detailed Description:
Operate a tractor and trailer unit
Comply with all company and customer Health, Safety, and Environmental (HS&E) rules, practices, and guidelines
Perform required DOT safety inspections
Maintain compliant DOT driver log(s) and records according to regulations and requirements
Complete each work ticket to ensure conformance with instructions and orders
Report all safety issues, incidents, and concerns to Company management and notify supervisor of current or anticipated repair needs
Maintain satisfactory customer service and keep radio/telephone contact with supervisor or dispatcher to receive delivery or pickup instructions
Conduct all pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tractor-trailer unit and perform minor emergency road service when needed
Load, secure, and unload cargo or shipments if necessary
Represent the Company and our values with integrity while maintaining the highest ethical and legal standards with all interactions
Adhere to the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics
Perform other related duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
Demonstrate clear communication skills including ability to read, write and speak English, and to promptly follow verbal and written directions in English along with the ability to establish and maintain effective rapport with all employees at different levels both in the office and in the field
Must be able to pass Essential Functions Test (EFT) pre-employment physical
Ability to safely navigate work sites with occasional walking, climbing, standing, stepping, etc., during normal operating conditions (day/night, outdoor hot/cold weather) and while utilizing designated personal protective equipment (PPE)
Demonstrate the ability to work well with others, and work independently when required
Mechanical inclination and the ability to perform light engine maintenance
1+ years' experience operating a manual shift diesel truck in a DOT-regulated environment
1+ years' experience in oilfield well servicing
Must have and maintain a valid Class A CDL with manual shift experience, be eligible to drive a Company vehicle and meet the requirements of the Company's vehicle program, policy and/or guidelines
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in mechanical maintenance and repair of diesel trucks
Pneumatic experience
Hazmat/Tanker endorsements

The DOTTruck Driver must work with an emphasis on individual safety and safety for others, including coworkers and third parties. This position includes working outdoors for long periods of time in all types of weather conditions typical of the area where the job is located, including dust, humidity, sleet, snow, rain, mud, cold, heat, wind, and other inclement weather. Working conditions for this position may involve exposure to varying outdoor conditions, including environmental chemicals, gases, noise, dampness, fumes, radiation, and heights.
