We are seeking an Accounts Payable (AP) Manager for one of our clients located in Orangeburg, NY



This person will coordinate the team's high volume, transactional processes of all critical day-to-day payment processing, vendor inquiries, statement resolution, analysis, and any other activities to ensure the highest quality of service and customer/vendor satisfaction for both internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for recommending departmental procedural changes, assist with implementations that streamline and improve processes to increase productivity, accuracy, and efficiency within the department. In addition, you are responsible for ensuring that the department's daily, weekly, and month-end functions are completed, and reporting deadlines are met.



Role Overview / Key Points

* 7-10 years AP experience

* Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable functions inclusive of standard AP controls leading business practices, both internal and external reporting requirements, as well as AP Automation

* Solid Management and Development skills

* Proven Organizational skillset with strength setting priorities in a fluid environment

* The ability to quickly and clearly communicate at all levels of the organization in both verbal and written form.

* Drive to exceed expectations and become a trusted business partner

* A deep understanding of the 1099 process and interdependencies with other areas within an organization

* Navigation in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
