Collegiate Professors are tenured members of the faculty, are appointed by the Provost, and report directly to the Assistant Vice Provost for Academic Enrichment. Collegiate Professors are appointed for a three-year term starting July 1, 2022, pending annual review, and receive a salary supplement in consideration of their additional duties, including some summer responsibilities (e.g., orientation, common reading program, and so forth). The duties as Collegiate Professor replace approximately 50 percent of the normal teaching, research, and service duties.
