Job Description We are looking for a development engineer for fast digital hardware to strengthen our team. Your tasks: - Development of fast communication modules with bit rates from 10 Gbit / s to 800 Gbit / s - Participation in the development of assembly concepts - Creation of block diagrams - Creation of circuit diagrams and selection of components - 3D EM simulation of critical signal paths - Selection of the circuit board material and definition of the layer structure - Support of the layout department with the layout of critical signal paths - Commissioning of the assemblies and performance of functional tests - You will work in a small team of experienced hardware engineersRequired Qualificaitons: - Completed degree in electrical engineering, communications engineering or comparable subjects - Experience in hardware development - Experience in using FPGAs with fast transceivers is an advantage - Knowledge of circuit diagram and layout development with common CAE tools - Analytical, systematic and independent way of working - Ability for extensive travel to Germany (initially)
