International Reinsurance (IR) Service Team Associate

Job Description  

Prudential’s global Pension Risk Transfer (PRT) business is a leading provider of pension risk transfer solutions, specializing in transactions in the US and international reinsurance.  Prudential Retirement has positioned itself as a thought leader in this market focusing on the challenges faced by clients.  Our team has completed the largest and most noteworthy pension risk transfer and longevity risk transfer transactions ever done. 

The IR Service Team Associate handles the on-going administration of our IR contracts, and interacts with clients and business partners.

The responsibilities for this role include:


  • Review all necessary documents available to understand the details of the contract, and request clarification where needed

  • Process monthly reconciliations, involving running compares, researching and resolving disputes

  • Process annual data reviews, including reviewing data changes, applying changes to the recordkeeping platform, and calculating true-up settlement payments

  • Perform tracing responsibilities

  • Forecast incoming and outgoing bank wires

  • Escalate concerns (ex. new or unusual findings) appropriately

  • Participate in client meetings, facilitated by the Relationship Manager

  • Monitor the Service Delivery mailboxes for administrative work

  • Analyze risk and propose business solutions for the on-going administration of the IR contracts

  • Support special projects/on-boarding tasks as needed

Qualifications


  • BS Degree with relevant work experience or equivalent work experience

  • Strong Excel skills

  • Keen attention to detail

  • Problem solving ability

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Interpersonal skills and ability to foster relationships

  • Adherence to deadlines for contractual obligations

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team

  • Self-motivated and proactive

  • Discretion to deal with confidential information

  • Flexibility to work in a fast paced and challenging environment 

*Note: Prudential is required by Colorado law to include the salary range for this role when hiring a Colorado resident.

Salary range specific to Colorado: $57,100 - $77,300 + discretionary incentive bonus + benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
