Job Description:

Vector Security is looking for an EXPERIENCED Payroll Professional with HRIS SYSTEM background. We'd like this person to be detail-oriented, customer-focused, and have excellent problem-solving abilities. Experience in UKG (UltiPro) system maintenance, process improvement and report production is required. Must have a solid foundation in:


  • Tax regulations

  • Deferred compensation regulations

  • OT calculations for FLSA

  • Imputed income

  • Reciprocity

  • Accrual calculations

  • Microsoft Excel

This is a temporary position for approximately 60 days to assist in year end closing beginning in December and ending in mid to late January 2022.

Our ideal candidate:


  • Is an experienced Payroll professional (CPP certification preferred)

  • Has HRIS system maintenance experience in UKG (UltiPro).

  • Possesses a solid understanding of how the data maintained in the HRIS impacts all aspects of the team members earnings, compensation and benefits, etc. 

  • Displays an outgoing, personable and helpful approach in dealing with all customers, internal and external

  • Takes a creative approach to problem-solving and process improvement, while recognizing the value in established practices.

  • Operates with a painstaking attention to detail.
