A prestigious hospital in Ohio is actively seeking a Vice President Laboratory Services to join their team.

Working closely with the System Medical Director, the Vice President Laboratory Services will oversee operations, strategic planning, and budgets for the health system’s Laboratory Service Line. Supported by Laboratory Directors, Laboratory Managers, lead technologists and other ancillary staff, the VP Laboratory Services will ensure the Laboratory Department is providing quality services, utilizing efficient processes, staffing accordingly, and ensuring the departments are maintaining hospital, state and federal compliance. 

As the leader, mentor, and resource for multiple laboratory sites throughout the health system, the Vice President Laboratory Services should be a team-oriented individual who loves cross collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, building relationships, educating, and growing services. The VP Laboratory Services will also be a forward-thinking leader, offers prior operational experience, and has strong technical and analytical skills. 

Requirements

• ASCP Certification 


• Prior Management experience ideally as a Director of Hospital Laboratory or Manager over a large Hospital Laboratory 


• Previous hospital / healthcare laboratory experience
