JOB FUNCTION / SUMMARY:

This specific position within the marketing department is responsible for driving acquisition and engagement for Hancock Whitney's specialized lending and mortgage products and services. This role will develop and execute integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns for Plan Your Way Home, Mortgage, Community Reinvestment Act (CRA)/Fair-Lending related products and programs. This role serves as a subject matter expert on consumer marketing and works closely with partners with his or her Business Unit (BU) leadership and cross-functional teams to create and deliver on marketing strategies that incorporate social media, email, creative & messaging development, digital advertising, events, thought leadership/content and sales support.


This position reports directly to the Senior Marketing Manager, Consumer Acquisition and Awareness and also collaborates directly with stakeholders from the product, sales, digital, and marketing leadership teams as well as centers of excellence for social, email, web and advertising partnership.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Lead marketing planning and campaign management for specialized lending acquisition and engagement strategies, including efforts to reach and engage multicultural communities.


  • Lead the marketing launch of new products, features and benefits - guiding channel teams and gaining alignment from business partners on marketing strategy. Collaborate with the cross-functional stakeholders on the go-to-market/launch planning and execution.


  • Partner closely with product, sales, and UI/UX partners to optimize the end-to-end client journey and product experience.


  • Develop/refine a differentiated client-centric value story that educates prospects and clients on the unique benefits and capabilities of Hancock Whitney's home-ownership programs.


  • Ensure appropriate positioning and messaging is used within direct marketing channels.


  • Drive the market and competitive research agenda, partner with those teams to deliver insights to identify or inform business opportunities and marketing strategies.


  • Create toolkits and enablement materials for sales and marketing, ensuring field team are equipped to sell Hancock Whitney products, services and solutions.


  • Guide agencies, channel marketers, and cross-line business partners on specialized lending marketing strategy.


  • Interpret campaign measurements of marketing impact towards CRA /Fair-Lending and mortgage goals; provide recommendations that tie back to business objectives and KPIs.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:


  • 4-year college degree required with at least 5 years of relevant marketing experience. Experience within the Financial Services industry (specifically Mortgage and/or CRA/Fair-Lending efforts) preferred


  • Experience managing multichannel campaigns with breakthrough marketing for direct response sign-ups and/or client-facing stakeholders


  • Experience developing and executing marketing strategies for net new products/solutions


  • Experience developing clear and compelling value propositions for physical products (e.g., hardware), software and services; ability to simplify messaging for maximum impact


  • Ability to think strategically (big picture) and connect the dots to individual tactics; desire to "roll up your sleeves" and own projects - including managing the details of project execution


  • Partner co-marketing experience, partner engagement / management skills strongly desired


  • Clear and concise written and oral communication skills; excellent story-telling skills via deck writing


  • Ability to influence across and up the organization to drive prioritization of opportunities with partners and stakeholders


  • Ability to develop strong relationships across functions, able to earn respect and trust among internal and external business partners and team members


  • Highly curious with proven creative problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement; strong customer/client-centric focus as default lens


  • High energy and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and work well under pressure and tight deadlines


  • Team player with a positive, can-do attitude; must be comfortable managing through ambiguity, fluid business environment


  • Polished executive presence, track-record of flawless execution and delivering strong results


  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
