Description

Melwood is seeking a collaborative and self-starter team member with exceptional organizational and data management skills. The organizations are looking for an individual to support the administrative, philanthropic development teams, and financial management functions. Reporting to the VP of Philanthropy, the Donor Administrator will play a critical role in day-to-day operations of Melwood and should have at least 2 years of relevant experience.


KEY RESPONSIBILITES



  • Maintains reports and data integrity in Raiser's Edge.

  • Prepares and send direct mail letters to prospects.

  • Serves as the primary point of contact for general philanthropic development calls and email inquiries, executing responses or elevating as necessary.

  • Direct liaison with the finance and technology teams.

  • Works with charity state registration companies.

  • Prepares and sends donor acknowledgement letters.

  • Supports major proposals and meeting presentation preparations.



QUALIFICATIONS



  • Proficient in Raiser's Edge.

  • General knowledge and some experience in financial reporting.



  • Excellent ability to effectively communicate via phone and email.

  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced team setting as well as individually in virtual environment as needed.

  • Customer-Service approach to all tasks.

  • Willingness to learn and pitch in at all levels.
