A fully accredited behavioral health hospital located in central New Jersey is currently searching for an experienced Interim Director of Infection Prevention to join their award-winning team.

The Interim Director of Infection Prevention will oversee the infection control program and will ensure compliance with current regulatory, government, and accrediting agencies. The Interim Director will work within a collaborative team that include the Hospital Epidemiologist, Regional Chief Quality Officer, Medical Director, and System VP of Infection Prevention. The Interim Director will lead the analysis, interpretation, and reporting of surveillance data and will lead organizational performance improvement initiatives.

The Interim Director of Infection Prevention must have current CIC certification from the Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology. Bachelor’s degree in nursing, healthcare administration, microbiology, public health, medical technologist, or a related field is required. The Interim Director should have at least 3 years of prior leadership experience leading an infection prevention service line.
