This position exists to support the efficient operation of the Plant Office, Manufacturing, and Human Resource functions.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
Administrative Duties
Receive and provide direction to visitors to ensure compliance with company security and GMP policies.
Manage incoming facility communications including phone calls, mail, and courier services.
Order and maintain office supplies, office equipment, and miscellaneous plant supplies.
Maintain organization of physical and electronic file systems.
Submit, process and code invoices to Accounts Payable for plant operations.
Management Support
Administer & track Plant Training Program compliance.
Facilitate BRC, Safety, and/or Quality training programs as required.
Support the administration of plant Badge Security System and facilitate plant related I.T. communication needs.
Coordinate facility events including department outings, executive meetings, employee celebrations, etc.
Files WC claims and maintains OSHA log.
Other duties as assigned.
Human Resource Support
Complete weekly payroll and track temporary employee work hours; work with temp agencies to manage and attract temporary employees.
Maintain employee records including tracking attendance, vacation, sick & personal time.
Assist with recruiting full time and temporary hourly roles for the plant. Coordinate recruiting efforts by scheduling interviews, collecting feedback, etc.
Supporting the HR Business Partner, coordinate and execute new hire recruitment and orientation process.
Work with plant leadership, Benefits Department and HR Business Partner to and facilitate and track employee leaves.
Assists with safety related activities at assigned facility.
Responsible for creation of payroll change forms.
Knowledge and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required
At least 2-3 years of experience in an administrative role; some amount of HR exposure or experience preferred
Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
Proficient in MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Power Point
Bi-lingual capabilities in English and Spanish preferred

Work is predominantly in an office setting. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
The employee is frequently required to walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
