JOB PURPOSE

Drive shag truck. Pull and back 48 and 53-foot trailers. Scrape out, wash and disinfect trucks and trailers according to company processes and procedures. Maintain a wash and shag report.

RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS

• Scrapes or blows out manure and woodchips from trailers


• Washes and disinfects equipment according to company processes and procedures


• Occasionally unloads woodchips from trailers


• Operates Bobcat to clean loose woodchips out of scrape out, unload from trailer or clean mud pits


• Reports any discrepancies in truck wash equipment or PPE to truck wash department team lead


• Maintains a clean work environment


• Moves trailers around truck wash yard and pulls trailers into wash bays and baker


• Follow direction provided by supervisor and department team lead


• Set reefer units at proper temperatures.


• Assist traffic office as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be 18 years or older


• Experience shagging tractor trailers preferred


• Flexible and able to work assigned weekends


• Ability to work in outdoor environment in all weather elements


• Ability to bend, climb and work in loud, wet, tight places
