IES Commercial, Inc. - Commercial & Industrial Division, seeking full-time Service Technician - Lead in Farmington, New Mexico.
Job Summary
Performs electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics on electrical distribution systems, branch circuits, panels, lighting fixtures, and control equipment.
Installs raceways, cables, support systems and wiring to meet local or national codes, or customer system requirements.
Mounts and terminates all electric distribution equipment as needed.
Identifies Service revenue opportunities and reports to Supervisor for quotation.
Tests wiring and terminations with test instruments as needed.
Keeps Supervisor informed of job needs, progress and issues.
Operates and maintains company service vehicle.
Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
Travel may be required.
Qualifications
Valid Journeyman Electrician license for the State of New Mexico.
5 years' recent experience as an electrician on commercial or industrial electrical projects.
Valid motor vehicle driver's license.
High School diploma/GED.
OSHA 10 or ability to obtain.
Ability to read/write/spell/compute basic math.
Ability to work in special environments or special shift hours/mandatory OT.
Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles
Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check when applicable per customer contract requirement.
