Service Assurance Team, a team that oversees the management of production support incidents that occur within the systems or business areas that need immediate remediation to prevent further fallout or issues. 

As a part of the Service Assurance Team, the Senior Business Analyst, will serve as liaison between Operations, Systems and Business to support unit's business needs through computer systems enhancements, policy administration rules, and/or production support issues.

Represents user area in all systems enhancements/design activities.  Gathers client requirements and communicates to systems personnel and/or Operations.  In this role participation is required on a variety of cross functional project teams.  Reviews and documents the requirements of those projects and completes and analysis of those requirements in relation to project goals. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


  • Vast knowledge of systems development, user centered design, usability, industry best practices, regulatory matters, products, and processes purposing remediation objectives to ensure the solution designs meets all project goals.

  • Systems and Operations knowledge of the system supported (including inputs, screens, process logic, and output as well as interface with the other systems).  

  • Ability to work closely with all groups in Prudential Retirement & Enabling Solutions.

  • Handle straightforward, well-contained business relationships for moderate to large sized projects.

  • Will need to define, develop and provide information and analysis to drive the decision-making process and support business operations for internal and external customers.

  • Ability to conduct research and analysis to quantify business opportunities and issues while developing formal recommendations for presentation to management. 

  • Work with business partners to generate solutions to issues and conduct the planning stages to implement those solutions. 

  • Lead multiple efforts to develop new and revised processes procedures for the assigned business areas.

  • Participated in presentations for internal external business partners and directing managers of project sub teams.  Ability to have a strategic focus with long term focus on implementation and continuous improvement of project management standards and procedures. I obtain a cross division Companywide business knowledge.

  • Ability to perform process analysis to design or redesign process issues to ensure that processes are customer focused, effective, and efficient.  Ability to identify, implement and/or integrate technologies needed to automate the new process.

  • The Senior Associate will manage medium to large sized projects and activities of multiple project teams which may include staff from other organizations and processes and must maintain expertise in the technology in which support the process.

  • Work independently and with management to scope, plan and manage complex project efforts for both divisional and multiple project teams.

Qualifications:


  • 2-3 years of operations experience

  • Systems knowledge of  STARs, OMNI, PRIDE and Tax knowledge a plus

  • Ability to analyze and resolve technical production issues

  • Microsoft Excel experience required

  • Experience working in an Agile environment preferred

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong organization, prioritization, and execution skills and the ability to successfully multi-task and manage change

  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills

  • Project management experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong collaborative and partnering skills with the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
