What You Can Offer Us
Oversee all data center business operations, including sales and revenue growth, accounting, compliance, and operations.
Develop and oversee strategies and policies necessary to satisfy customers, engage employees, and achieve financial objectives.
Identify and support strategic growth opportunities, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop operating plans that align with American Tower’s data center strategies including the integration of new data center assets.
Lead revenue and sales forecasts, customer pipeline, and go-to market strategies.
Based on overall compliance strategies, implement regulatory and certification compliance programs for data center assets.
Manage expenditures, staffing, and capital projects to ensure compliance with financial goals. Oversee site operations and capital expense budgets to ensure compliance with organizational expenditure requirements.
Develop and execute day-to-day operating plans to meet or exceed operational performance metrics to meet customer service level agreements.
Support strategic analyses and integration assessments of new data center development and acquisitions.
Recruit and manage the performance and career development of Site Operations and Infrastructure teams and Sales and Business Development teams. You’ll also cultivate a collaborative dynamic team environment, empowering team members to meet business objectives.
Approximately 30% of the time the role will be performed outside of a conventional office environment.
Minimum of 15 years of progressive and relevant business management, including experience overseeing and operating a data center environment, required.
Relevant experience may also include experience in a technical position within a fiber or MNO organization, experience in an operational role working for a cloud or content provider within a hyperscale data center team, experience in an operational IT position, or experience working for a networking OEM or enterprise computer server OEM.
Fiscal and operating leadership experience required.
Approximately 30% travel may be required to support the position’s responsibilities.
Astute planning skills along with the ability to lead through influence and be a proactive partner with a strong customer-service orientation.
Strong organization, planning, and project management skills; ability to prioritize tasks for self and team to meet requirements and deadlines.
Strong leadership skills; ability to drive and motivate a team to achieve results.
