This individual is responsible for driving understanding and decision making from data, working with key executives down to analysts. This job will operate at the intersection of business, analytics, and technology, developing enterprise data and analytics demand and plans that help partners improve operational efficiency and reposition the company for future growth. This job will partner with business leaders, staff clinicians, utilization management, network development, provider services, product development and marketing departments as needed to understand and help shape business requirements, designing, developing, and implementing rapid data and analytics solutions for functions across the enterprise. This role is part of the Data and Analytics COE which consists of experts and advisors with a specific focus on generating business insight, governing data assets, and promoting the use of data and analytics to achieve business outcome and measurable ROI across the enterprise.

How you will make an impact:


  • Acts as a trusted advisor to the business, providing insight and analysis on strategic initiatives, key goals, decisions and adhoc projects.

  • Identifies, assesses and solves complex business problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

  • Interprets business asks into meaningful programs and features of the solutions using sound business acumen, understanding of the data and technical skills.

  • Performs exploratory data analysis, develops/ tests business hypothesis to identify opportunities and generates data driven insights, plan and recommendations.

  • Drives decision making by conducting data wrangling, designing business models and Storytelling through visualization to help find meaningful insights.

  • Collaborates with the business, COE, and IT partners to identify key use cases and defines associated requirements.

  • Coordinates the execution of cross functional strategic initiatives - organizes and executes activities in a productive and collaborative environment. Works across organizations to accomplish goals.

  • Provides thought leadership, best practices, and standards required to deliver effective and sustainable solutions.

  • Provides regular business updates, risks and issues and manage stakeholder expectations.

  • Synthesizes complex analytics-derived insights into easy-to-understand, actionable recommendations that business users can easily extract and execute on.

  • Creates reports and analyzes data to identify solutions that meet business goals.

  • Analyzes current processes and identifies existing or potential problems in order to discover new process improvement opportunities.

What we look for:


  • 4+ years of experience w/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Prior experience in a role requiring collaboration across multiple functions within a large, complex organization.

  • Strong business acumen, ability to think strategically and build effective business partnerships.

  • Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, quantitative reasoning, and problem-solving skills with high attention to details and accuracy

  • Uses storytelling techniques to effectively communicate analytical results and support business decisions.

  • Experience working with Scrum Agile methodology to deliver solutions.

  • Strong functional understanding of data and analytics architecture, platforms, and frameworks; including data ingestion, data pipelines (ETL), and business intelligence/analytics reporting and visualizations.

  • Strong presentation skills. Should be comfortable with presenting to all levels of management.

  • Solid planning, priority setting, and project management skills with experience managing multiple projects concurrently.

  • A self-starter that adapts well to change in a fast-paced, dynamic workplace and works well in cross-functional teams/projects.

  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills, including communicating technical issues to non-technical audiences.

  • Build deep client relationship, network & be a thought partner.
