Position Objective:

The Financial Analyst I assists in the consolidation of worldwide financial statements, participates in monthly corporate accounting responsibilities, reconciles corporate and global accounts, and prepares necessary schedules to satisfy audit requests while ensuringan environment conducive to JSOX.

Key Accountabilities:

* Prepares journal entries and account reconciliations, processes accounts payable, and participates in monthly closing of the corporate books.
* Assists in the compilation of the monthly/quarterly financial packages prepared for the company's parent.
* Participates in the administration of JSOX requirements including confirmation of proper sign-off on checklists, adequate support for monthly, quarterly, and annual tasks.
* Reconciles various consolidated accounts on a quarterly bases: debt, pension, goodwill & intangibles, intercompany, lease, and others as needed.
* Assists in the annual preparation of the audited financial statements and notes, including the collection and compilation of financial data requested from the Company's subsidiaries, and the completion of audit schedules.
* Performs special projects as assigned.

Position Requrirements:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA or CPA desirable;


2. 1-2 years' previous experience;


3. Must be a self-starter, detail oriented and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Must be able to handle multiple projects effectively and simultaneously;


4. Knowledge of US GAAP reporting requirements;


5. Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills;


6. Excellent computer skills, especially Excel;


7. Excellent organizational skills.
