Job Description
The Sr. Functional Analyst will be responsible for conducting examinations of business requirements to assess needs, collect information, and identify alternative methods and solutions. The Sr. Functional Analyst will also conduct research and provide analytical support to strategic planning, training development, problem solving, quality management, financial analysis, and business process reengineering.
Key Responsibilities
Assist CMS to revise vendor application and application scoring matrix
Process applications and enter into application scoring matrix, assist CMS to make determination of qualified vendor(s)
Assist CMS to revise technical guidance and vendor agreements
Create Features (Requirements, Use Cases, Level of Effort Estimates) to capture details for activities requiring supporting detail and definition of done
Create Lessons Learned document
Update SOPs to reflect changes in process
Assist CMS in communication with vendors, including monitoring of vendor e-mail inbox and draft responses to vendor communications
Follow SOP to provide daily status report on vendor inquiries
Disseminate messages or alerts as determined by CMS to vendors through vendor inbox
Support IT build and updates for conditionally approved vendors
Participate and conduct Integration, User Acceptance Testing, Smoke Testing, and all testing coordination activities with the GTL and vendors
Update content submission guidance
Facilitate reviews by SME of vendor training content and submission guidance
Perform oversight of conditionally approved vendors' marketing activities and continuing education unit credits
Develop and track vendor quarterly performance reports
Facilitate vendor technical guidance webinars
Submit vendor training lessons learned and evaluation documentation based on vendors' previous year performance
Participate in weekly status calls with vendors
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 6 years relevant experience (4 years of additional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree)
Comprehensive understanding of applicable standards, methods, processes and practices, business fundamentals, and performance metrics in the specific functional area supported by this position (e.g. training, financial analysis and business process reengineering)
Customer driven with good oral and written communications skills and strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills
Ability to analyze data and complex problems, interpret and recommend alternative courses of action, and implement intervention strategies to attain performance targets
