BGIS is currently seeking a Supply Chain Associate to join the team in Kerrville, TX.


Purpose Statement: Ensure proper management of inventory and supply chain.


RESPONSIBILITIES


Equipment & Facility Management



  • Organize, distribute equipment for job boxes.

  • General shop house/grounds keeping/recycle, salvage material.

  • Replenish stock.


Shipping/Receiving



  • Assist with inventory management as deliveries arrive/assembled for jobsite.

  • Ships and delivers packages.

  • Assists with Tool Receiving tasks when workload requires.

  • Supports in the shipping of FedEx and Freight packages as needed.


Administrative



  • Register/Order equipment daily to ensure stock level stay up to par.

  • Update customer portals with ETA information for parts and completion.


*Other duties as assigned


REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE and ABILITIES



  • One (1) years of experience as an administrative assistant preferred.

  • Previous experience in purchasing equipment is preferred.

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio; working knowledge of SharePoint preferred.

  • Knowledge of company's values and mission.

  • Knowledge and understanding of OSHA guidelines.

  • Knowledge of tools and equipment used within the mechanical contracting industry.


Physical Demands and Work Environment



  • Ability and willingness to travel.

  • Provide personal transportation for meetings and job visits away from the office; reimbursed.
