The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Global Product Content Leader you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:


  • Contribute and execute the annual product content plan. Position will understand the overall Marketing Plan and determine best strategies to deliver results on time and on budget

  • Support NPI launches coordinating with global and area counterparts to ensure assets are delivered in scope and on time

  • Lead global portfolio project plan to develop Global Universal Product Content for enhanced, eCommerce focused rich content. Relationship manage global vendor, global counterparts, and internal support teams to review, approve, and scale UPC.

  • Collaborate with product marketing, tech service and training teams to develop and execute on content marketing strategies and plans that build on relevant online product content to help drive customers through the decision journey

  • Lead complex projects while collaborating with cross functional Teams on key functional areas.

  • Manage and create winning product content for both internal and external audiences

  • Proactively bring forward ideas for product content creation of digital solutions including identifying where in the customer journey digital solutions best fit

  • Drive brand and product engagement across multiple multimedia platforms via relevant, scalable design supporting integrated marketing communications campaigns

  • Ability to work within brand standards while executing compelling design (brand expression). Ensures alignment with 3M brand identity

  • Work with external vendors (and internal services) on multimedia campaign execution as needed

  • Collaborate with the business, training and demand generation marketing operations teams on campaign strategies and marketing tactics to ensure execution aligns with the content plan

  • Work with globally based teams to provide direction on content strategy and plan to aide in local execution

  • Manage and execute against global budget for content needs.

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited university

  • Three (3) combined years of experience in digital marketing or marketing communications, focused on digital

  • Technology fluent with good understanding of digital channels and tools (Search experience, UX knowledge, or eCommerce experience will be additional advantage)

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:


  • Experience in the following is preferable:  Windows, Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Acrobat Professional, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint

  • Get it done – accountability. Takes responsibility and ownership for own tasks, decisions, and outcomes. Delivers consistent results and hits deadlines within the scope of own role.

  • Win together - collaborating and establishing multi-functional teams across structures dedicated to driving marketing activities.

  • Content marketing, marketing automation, customer journey mapping experience

  • Content data management experience – Celum Hybris, Adobe, etc.

  • Technology fluent with good understanding of digital channels and tools (Search experience, UX knowledge, or eCommerce experience will be additional advantage)

  • Experience in the following is preferable:  Windows, Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Acrobat Professional, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic and global

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
