SourceAmerica is looking for a talented Manager, Accounts Receivable to join its Vienna, VA-based team.

Position Summary


Responsible for managing the accounts receivable team and the loan / lease program accounting for SourceAmerica national headquarters and its regional offices. Oversee the accounts receivable team to ensure the integrity of accounts receivable.


Here are some of the functions of this position; a full position description will be given to candidates in the interview process.


Essential Functions
















·       Lead the day-to-day activities of the accounts receivable team of (8) team members, whose functions include invoice entry, cash application, account reconciliations, collection calls, cash posting and month end closing. Monitor the accounting controls, processes, and procedures for accounts receivable to ensure that necessary documentation and internal controls are in place to assure the appropriate financial transactions



·       Supervise the day-to-day activities of the Order Entry Team. A team member whose function include obtaining, and entering data from product contracts, product invoices, delivery orders, and contract related documents into SourceAmerica’s front office administration system in a timely manner



·       Support the accounting staff of our network of over 600 nonprofit agencies to resolve questions about open Accounts Receivable balances



·       Maintain and review activity posted to the general ledger for accounts receivable and prepare and distribute financial or other management reports as necessary. Prepare and/or supervise the preparation of materials for the annual audit of SourceAmerica’s financial statements and periodic Board meetings


Required Education, Experience, and Skills



  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study from an accredited institution. SourceAmerica recognizes 1.5 years of experience = 1 year of college, should the candidate not meet the required education

  • 5 years of relevant work experience

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills



  • Master’s degree in a relevant field of study or MBA from an accredited institution

  • 2 years of management experience

  • Experience in systems implementations and enhancements - SourceAmerica uses Microsoft Dynamics as its Enterprise Resource Program (ERP)
