AMEREX BROKER ANALYST / FRONT OFFICE OPERATIONS SUPPORT

Purpose/objective:

The Broker Analyst responsibilities include providing front line support to senior brokers while developing knowledge of markets, trade terminology, trading platforms, internal & external communications, and regulatory guidelines. The successful Broker Analyst will utilize their work experience combined with the hands-on method of internal training, to advance and secure a role as a Broker.

Key tasks, duties, and quality standards in meeting department purpose/objectives:


  • Support customers and brokers in the use of Trading Platforms, which will include user functionality training.
  • Provide market review and analysis.
  • Create and maintain internal and external relationships.
  • Ability to accurately speak, listen, and visualize information simultaneously within a distracting environment.
  • Maintain professionalism and integrity.
  • Pass Series 3 exam within specified period.
  • Adhere to and complete all mandatory regulatory and compliance policies and procedures.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Knowledge of trading and /or broking environment is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications: Outlook, Excel.
  • Basic clerical skills i.e., data entry, etc
  • Valid driver's license and operable vehicle.

Compensation:

This is an entry level position with an increase in total compensation after passing mandatory performance metrics and obligatory six-month probation period. Benefits include medical, dental and vision insurance, and 401(k) savings options. Expenses will be reimbursed in accordance with company guidelines.
