Job Summary:

Under limited supervision, designs, codes, tests and deploys software in all layers of the development life cycle. Provides the necessary documentation. Works with databases, APIs, servers, networks and various programming languages.

Job Specific Information:

Duties/Responsibilities:

Provide leadership and initiative in the overall coordination of system requirements, program specifications and code/unit test to meet business Requirements/specifications for significant projects. Provide leadership and initiative to the development of deliverables for additional levels of testing and test execution including system level and integration tests. Lead and/or assist in resolution of complex production problems.

Ability to provide technical leadership for large scale development efforts. Ability to collaborate with business partners and various IT teams to design and deliver enterprise/global native mobile solutions.

Abilities/Knowledge/Skills Considered a Plus:


  • Knowledge and experience with all aspects of the software development lifecycle in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.

  • Experience building Mobile applications on iOS and/or Android platforms with personalization, globalization, application level security/vulnerability protection, analytics, and integrating with APIs.

  • Strong technical skills and experience using native mobile app development technologies, languages, libraries, and tools like Swift, Xcode, Java, Kotlin, Android SDK, GitLab, Jenkins, Sonarcube, HP Fortify, Lint, Firebase, ...

  • Knowledge and experience working on SAFe/Agile programs/Scrum teams.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience presenting to non-technical and technical audiences.

  • Demonstration of strong interpersonal skills.

  • Experience defining, implementing, and maintaining a DevOps culture while executing continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.

  • Experience coordinating projects across multiple teams and organizations, and multiple locales including offshore vendor resources.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to prepare and present project updates to business partners and Management.


Some travel required

Domicile: This position will be domiciled in Plano (Dallas) Texas;. Collierville, Tennessee (Memphis area); Colorado Springs, Colorado; Moon Township, Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh area); or Orlando, Florida.

Remote Work: The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need.

Relocation: Relocation assistance may be available based on business need.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or related field and/or equivalent formal training or work experience. Requiresthree (3) years qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements.
