ATI is a global manufacturer of technically advanced specialty materials and complex components. Our products support diverse markets and industries such as aerospace and defense, oil & gas, electrical energy, medical, automotive, and other industrial markets.

We are currently looking for an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic (Millwright) at our manufacturing facility in Cudahy, Wisconsin (suburb of Milwaukee, WI). Our Maintenance Mechanics / Millwrights are part of a highly skilled team that is critical in supporting production and ensuring equipment is operational in order to consistently meet production goals and our customers' needs.

In order to become successful, you’ll have to quickly learn ATI, our manufacturing equipment, processes and products, and be able to perform preventative, predictive and emergency maintenance and rebuilding a variety of mechanical components and equipment including hydraulics, rigging and CNC machinery by following dimensional drawings and other instructions. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will also have a key role in identifying issues, providing corrective actions and implementing process improvements and methods that will increase our efficiencies.

This is a second shift position from 3pm - 11pm Monday through Friday. There is also voluntary overtime on the weekends available.

Additional Responsibilities

* Accountable for performing assembly, layout and repair operations on hammers and equipment to maintain proper operating conditions.
* Relocates, moves, loads, and unloads equipment.
* Operating problems on mechanical presses, hammers, blast units, furnaces, cranes, and support equipment would have to be identified and analyzed for set-up and repair or modification.
* Inspecting, disassembling, assembling, rebuilding, or replacing of defective parts is required of various machine tools and equipment.

Basic Qualifications

* At least four (4) years of machine repair, hydraulic repair, iron worker of industrial maintenance / millwright experience

Or

* A licensed Journeyman Millwright through a state indentured apprenticeship

Skills

* Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
* Solid mechanical aptitude of complex mechanical assemblies including precision measurements
* Able to read and interpret blueprints
* Excellent trouble shooting and problem-solving capabilities
* An analytical and detail-oriented personality
* The knowledge of conventional welding and industrial equipment operations
