The Operations Manager ensures that all business operations are being conducted in the most efficient, effective, and profitable manner. The Operations Manager analyzes and manages the processes employed in all aspects of the Profit Center, investigates the possibility of process improvements, and when applicable, implements changes and trains staff.

As an Operations Manager with Hajoca your specific duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Supervise, schedule and train staff to ensure efficient, effective, and profitable operation of all job functions (other than Sales Team).


  • Assist with recruiting, developing, training, coaching, and managing the Profit Center operations team.


  • Review daily sales and inventory reports and address issues immediately.


  • Evaluate inventory management reports regularly to ensure an accurate and efficient annual Physical Inventory.


  • Ensure the Profit Center conducts all business in accordance with Company policy and procedures.

    All interested applicants must possess:


  • College degree or equivalent industry experience


  • Minimum 5+ years of operations, wholesale distribution, and/or contractor experience in a management role


  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain quality relationships with team members, customers, and vendors


  • Ability to interpret performance report data to determine the effectiveness of business operations and take the appropriate action to adjust processes to maximize profitability.


  • Comprehensive knowledge of, and be able to apply and enforce, OSHA, DOT and other material handling safety regulations.

    Our ideal candidate will also:


  • Have a comprehensive knowledge of products


  • Previous experience with an inventory management system (e.g. Eclipse)


  • A demonstrated history of leadership experience


  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) skills


  • Experience operating material-handling equipment
