The Product Manager for Corporate Technologies is responsible for managing the product roadmap and delivery of new features and enhancements across numerous corporate systems that power the business needs of DineBrands Corporation. These technologies power the business efforts of the following corporate teams: Human Resources (HR), Finance, Audit, Risk, Legal, and Corporate Communications.


The individual is expected to be the SME (subject matter expert) of all our Corporate Technologies and to work closely with corporate team leaders to assure there is continued alignment on deliverables in the product roadmap. Critical to the role are maintaining high levels of engagement and collaboration with corporate stakeholders/business sponsors, driving delivery of in flight or emerging technology needs from our corporate teams, providing strategic direction when needed on technology direction, assisting in the procurement of new technologies, and having good business acumen (e.g. versed in ROI analysis, pricing strategy, and profitability metrics).


Every new product feature decision should be grounded in sound analysis, leveraging data and user insights wherever possible, making the Product Manager a cornerstone in assuring the corporation is always focused on the highest business value work. Ultimately, the product manager is a steward of the products he/she has oversight of and must help assure every product decision is carefully thought through in alignment with the needs of the business.


Responsibilities:



  • Manages the product roadmap for all technologies under his/her purview or guidance, assuring there is alignment on all new features/enhancements with stakeholders across the enterprise.

  • Work with stakeholders to procure and evaluate new tech solutions that are expected to address existing and emerging business needs.

  • Work in the capacity required from the corporate team, which may include assisting in the enablement and delivery of new solutions related to corporate technologies.

  • Drive or partner with others business leaders to drive procurement of new corporate technologies and develop business cases / strategy around new enhancements/features.

  • Work with corporate team members to define the minimal viable product (MVP) for new technology rollouts.

  • Responsible for continually understanding the technology landscape of capabilities available in the marketplace for corporate technologies and staying in tune with what the end user/customer needs are.

  • Perficient in using data and analytics to make product decisions and how to tie product metrics to business goals (when applicable).



  • Will be expected to articulate product decisions and strategy to others in the organization; must be comfortable speaking in front of large audiences or gatherings with executive leaders.

  • Drive continuous improvement to the product management discipline overall.


Skills & Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree. MBA is preferred.

  • 5+ years working as a product manager in corporate technologies.



  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Maintain close collaboration and strong business relationships with our corporate team members to assure product roadmap deliverables are also aligned with business needs.

  • Have a strong sense of team; everything we do is a team effort, and knowing how to work and collaborate with others is critical.

  • Good at both planning and executing; entrepreneurial mindset and a go-getter mentality are foundational to this role.

  • Strong leadership is a must to drive product and delivery excellence and garner alignment from all corporate team members.

  • Strong sense of humility, openness and transparency.

  • Collaborative and open to new ideas, but willing to stand ground to make sure work gets done in a timely manner

  • Strong critical thinking skills and the ability see resolve problems in creative ways.

  • Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence), Smartsheets, and Roadmunk.



  • Ability to work and be effective throughout all transformative phases of an organization (e.g. "storming") and having tenacity to unblock issues when approaches might be ambiguous.

  • Strong at multi-tasking
