Job Summary: Supervises staff and coordinates activities for regional drivers.

Primary Responsibilities of the Job:* Follows written work instructions and JBDs precisely * Works safely and utilizes all necessary PPE * Escalates any potential safety or quality concerns * Collaborate with workers and managers to solve work-related problems * Review work throughout the work process and at completion to ensure that it has been performed properly * Plan work schedules and assign duties to maintain adequate staff for effective performance of activities and response to fluctuating workloads * Resolve personnel problems, complaints, and formal grievances when possible, or refer them to higher-level supervisors for resolution. * Inform designated employees or departments of items loaded and problems encountered. * Counsel employees in work-related activities, personal growth, and career development * Perform all necessary Driver / Warehouse Technician functions to fill in for absent employees or ensure timely delivery to customers * Maintains showcase standards through cleanliness and organization throughout the service center by performing housekeeping duties, including picking up and dumping trash * Handles tools and materials according to training/regulations and in a safe and appropriate manner * Participates in process improvement teams * Participates in safety, quality or other committee memberships as needed * Familiarity with regulatory requirements, including but not limited to OSHA, RCRA, FMCSA, DOT, State and Federal agencies, and Dept of Homeland Security Site Security Plans
