JOB MISSION

Performs a wide variety of warehouse related tasks including processing work orders, troubleshooting and fact finding, managing inventory, interacting with key internal customers, and processing and documenting appropriate paperwork and schedules pertaining to shipments and deliveries.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Processes fill tickets. Sorts, packs, and delivers materials and supplies in a timely manner to designated areas.




• Picks soles and uppers; matches sole tags to fill tickets by pairs; lays out sole tags by raw material size; ability to identify errors.




• Loads kits onto trucks and oversees all loading processes and paperwork.




• Oversees Kanban, order supplies as necessary, stock and restock inventory.




• Operates various machines for processes including RF scanners, insert cutting, stamping, heat transfer, pallet jacks, fork trucks, and stackers.




• Problem solves material and delivery issues and follows up with all affected departments.




• Continuously looks to improve methods, practices and procedures and corrects any quality issues within their position.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS

• High school diploma or equivalent and 2 plus years of experience preferably in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.




• Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules proper use of powered equipment, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural instructions. Able to write routine reports and correspondence.




• Basic to intermediate computer and data entry skills.




• Ability to stand throughout the shift, lifting moderate to heavy amounts of weight.




• Must demonstrate excellent communication skills and an ability to work in a team environment.
