Joplin 44, the largest travel plaza located on I44, is a high volume location, a signature and healthy store that is adding a brand new Assistant Manager to accommodate our growing business that is well established! Joplin 44 Petro is looking for an entrepreneurial motivated Assistant Manager to be a part of leading Joplin 44 Food Court to great levels of continued success!

The ideal Assistant Manager candidate is extremely hands-on, has an entrepreneurial spirit, and has a passion for customer service. This person needs to be able to successfully lead and motivate an entire restaurant team with minimal direction. This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented Assistant Manager who is looking to join an established company that truly values their employees and customers and demonstrates an ownership mentality.

$17 an hour with a 45 hour work week = $41,000!
Requirements:

1-3 years Assistant Manager experience
Must have considerable knowledge in food preparation, presentation and portion control·
Experience with managing inventory and full P&L knowledge
Proven ability to successfully manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced working environment
Ability to travel out of state for training

Responsibilities:

Create an experience that every customer will seek to repeat.
Train and educate new team members to our culture, standards and operations
Create an experience that every customer will seek to repeat.
Follow all policies and procedures regarding sanitation and sanitary food handling.
Execute all ordering and inventory management.
100% accountability with the P&L--total food cost and total back of house labor cost.
Must be knowledgeable in training front of house employees as well
Control costs by training and educating team members and fellow managers.
Create a fun, safe and energetic working environment.
