The Salesforce.com Support Specialist employee will primarily support the Director - CRM Administration. The successful candidate will have a record of success in improving processes and adoption using the Salesforce.com platform. This employee will be a critical part of a functional project team responsible for owning and executing delivery of custom solutions that are uniquely tailored to the needs of the business.

What You Will Do In Your Role


  • Supports the Salesforce roadmap by successfully configuring new features and system enhancements and performing user acceptance and production assurance testing for platform releases

  • Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Workflow, Process Builder, Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards, and reports

  • Handles all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows, and other routine tasks

  • Works with our institutional management team to establish suitable processes to support various initiatives, document those requirements, and build an implementation plan

  • Maintains and supports Salesforce 3rd party app integrations

  • Automates or develops self-service options for common support scenarios

  • Evaluate new releases of Salesforce to determine functionality requirements and provide detailed information on how changes will apply to all affected users

  • Manage Salesforce.com data feeds and other integrations

  • Assisting in the development of training materials and assist in training of new users, and grow the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization

  • Effectively act as the liaison between our users, vendors and the application development teams

  • Work independently with members of the user community to define and document development requirements

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:


  • 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator

  • Detailed understanding of the Salesforce Lightning and Salesforce Sandbox development environments, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, processes, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity

  • Demonstrated skills using process builder, sharing rules, workflow, formulas, and report and dashboard building

  • Previous experience developing requirements for Customer Relationship Management (CRM) project or implementation

  • Collaborate with a team of Salesforce Administrators, IT personnel, and Functional Leaders to determine the most appropriate technical strategy and designs to meet business needs

  • Excellent AGILE project management skills and a positive attitude

  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, and handle and prioritize simultaneous requests

  • Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills

  • Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with all levels of the organization

  • Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true need

  • Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce.com and all upstream and downstream applications, systems, and processes

What Will Put You Ahead


  • Bachelor's degree

  • Salesforce Administrator Certification

  • Proficient with Conga Composer

  • Knowledge working with Pardot, Tableau CRM, Geopointe or FieldFX

For this role, we anticipate paying $60,000.00 - $ $70,000.00 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
