Cognos Architect

Position Responsibilities

Design and develop Cognos Framework model and Reports. 

Good in writing SQL. 

Requirements Analysis  design  creation of Unit  test cases  Coding Develop deliverables with quality  perform unit testing  Support for System Integration Testing  Support for User Accepatance Testing  Migration to System test environment  migration to UAT environment.

Good Communication skills.

Prior project experience is mandatory.

Flexible in work timings. Available for meetings with onsite Leads.

Should highlight the risks  issues and dependencies to project manager.

Perform impact analysis for any changes to the existing code base. Good Lead and good team player. Good in documentation.

Qualifications (Includes Primary Skill, Secondary Skill and other qualifications)

•       Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer/ science technical or related experience.

•       5+ years of hands-on relational, dimensional, and/or analytic experience (using RDBMS, dimensional, NoSQL data platform technologies, and ETL and data ingestion protocols).

•       Experience with Cognos in multi-data-centre contexts required.

•       Good knowledge of metadata management, data modelling, and related tools (Erwin or ER Studio or others) required.

•       Experience in team management, communication, and presentation.
