The Data Engineer will develop, optimize and support our company’s data integrations, APIs and ETL processes. The Data Engineer should know how to examine new data system requirements and implement processes. The ideal candidate will also have proven experience implementing solutions on the Informatica IICS platform, with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or relevant field
A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as a Data Engineer or similar role
Informatica IICS experience
Strong knowledge of SQL Server databases
Knowledge of data integration and ETL tools
Experience with cloud computing environments with a strong preference for Microsoft Azure
Responsibilities:
Design and implement effective solutions and processes to store and retrieve company data and client data
Responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing and supporting application software that is delivered on time and within budget
Examine and identify integration patterns by evaluating client operations, applications, and programming
Ensure data quality
Support operational security and segregation of sensitive data
Troubleshoot applications and provide corrective measures
Install and organize information systems to guarantee company functionality
Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions.
Monitor the system performance by performing regular tests, troubleshooting and integrating new features
Offer support by responding to system problems in a timely manner
