Member Concierge staff help create a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests by building relationships and providing excellent customer service. We are currently seeking staff available to assist provide an amazing experience to our members and guests for a variety of shifts including opening, closing, and on the weekends up to 20-25 hours per week. On a typical day, you will manage the needs of the welcome center including offering courteous, professional, and friendly support to members and guests as they get connected to facility and program offerings. You will be responsible for phone and in-person interactions, handling issues or concerns professionally and discretely, and ensuring risk management and cleanliness goals are consistently met. This position requires a genuine interest in people and the ability to build relationships with our members to effectively develop a sense of deep connection and ownership to the Y.

To thrive in this position you must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask seamlessly while responding appropriately to member inquiries. You must be able to connect with people of diverse backgrounds and abilities creating an atmosphere that accepts all. This is the ideal position for those interested in customer service, sales, connecting with people, or non-profits.

Qualifications


  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Basic knowledge of computers and ability to learn new software systems with ease
  • In anticipation of the mandate relative to covid-19 vaccination for federal employees, this position requires proof of vaccination or medical/religious exemption
