Are you looking for a patient-focused, innovation-driven company to inspire you and empower you to shine? Join us as a Rebate Analyst in our Exton, Pennsylvania office.

You Will:


  • Reconcile monthly transactional data submitted by multiple Commercial, and Part D entities by independent analysis of rebate data, independent determination of formulary status, and independent interpretation of contract language. Compare analysis with the invoices submitted by the entities, investigates discrepancies, and document the variances. You will communicate the variances and negotiate dispute resolution with your appropriate external customers for each individualized contract.


  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of all monthly/quarterly rebate payments for all Commercial and Medicare Part D contracted customers. The process includes the interpretation and translation of contract language, ensuring PDL formulary/benefit compliance, calculation and validation of rebate payments, including in-depth data analysis and adherence to all audit requirements and any/all reporting regulations as defined within Takeda's policies related to rebate processing.


  • Provide financial/business analytical support by identifying anomalies and trends to ensure contract compliance and rebate payment accuracy to the Planning & Analysis, Government, Finance, Contracts and Pricing and Managed Markets teams.


  • Investigate and propose solutions for contract set-up for individualized complicated contract language, which may differ from usual methodology.


  • Work with Senior Analyst(s) to support all Commercial and Medicare Part D internal/external audits by preparing and providing the necessary documentation to Takeda's Compliance Office and the Contracts & Pricing Government Price Reporting team. This includes providing detailed reporting to the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS) auditors and designees to support CMS's audit of all Medicare Part D programs.


  • Ensure that all variances or data integrity issues are documented, analyzed for impact, and communicated to Contract and Pricing Management.


  • Perform a variety of ad hoc reporting related to individualized requests for Commercial and Medicare Part D contracts.



You Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree


  • 2+ years experience in the area of commercial reimbursement


  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry with a comprehensive understanding of the pharmaceutical industry
