If you are a Manufacturing and Operations professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you!  Based in our Sidney, Ohio location, you will supervise 20-30 employees in manufacturing processes within Assembly Department, meeting or exceeding goals for production, safety, quality and delivery. You will work with existing policies for consistent application, partnering with management and human resources. 

AS A SUPERVISOR ASSEMBLY, YOU WILL: 

• Supervision utilizing strong interpersonal skills.  




• Technical knowledge of manufacturing processes as applies to such supervision.  




• Good computer skills to facilitate processes, software used.  




• Able to pursue related objectives with organizational skills to meet goals.  




• Ability to work with personnel at all levels of organization.  




• Strong ability to troubleshoot equipment and partner with Maintenance staff to ensure machine and process uptime.  




• Support overall Quality Systems and perform necessary tasks to protect customer quality and Achieve ISO Certification.  




• Ability to inspect on a daily basis; tool condition, quality systems, wear items, equipment set ups and daily TPM's.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• Two (2) year Associate's degree plus one (1) year of related experience or equal combination of education and experience.




• Demonstrate competency with processes in area 




• Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship for this role will not be provided. 

 

 PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:  

• Four (4) year bachelor's degree in management or leadership




• One (1) to three (3) years of manufacturing supervisor experience including assembly

Schedule

This position is currently working 5:30 AM - 2:30 PM Monday - Friday. They are also required to work up to three Saturdays a month from 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

About our Location
The newly renovated Sidney campus has 1M square feet of manufacturing floor with an additional 120k square feet of leading-edge lab facilities. This location is the headquarters for the air conditioning and cold chain businesses. Through our 30 years of scroll compressor expertise, our air conditioning related products help bring comfort and convenience in commercial, industrial and residential spaces. The cold chain business helps ensure that food safely and efficiently travels from farm to fork. Approximately 1600 employees work in Sidney, who all support a multitude of business functions. With the blend of businesses and functions represented under this one roof, there are many opportunities for advancement within the Sidney location.
