Job Summary:

The Phlebotomist demonstrates knowledge of human growth and
development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate
to the ages of patients served. Promotes customer service initiative. Fulfills departmental responsibilities with the
long-range plan, mission, vision and values of Horizon.

Job Duties:

• You will utilize
  phlebotomy skills for collection of patient blood samples.


• You will participate in
  Performance Improvement activities to assure continuous Quality
  Improvement.


• You will maintain
  cultural and diversity awareness when dealing with patients, visitors,
  co-workers and all other customers.


• You will promote a
  supportive, teamwork-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience preferred.


• Must have the ability to collect samples from age specific populations.


• Basic Life Saving (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification required within 90 days of hire or promotion
