We are seeking a well-qualified candidate for an exciting opportunity to fulfill a position as Global Director, Product Management of Molecular Diagnostics and join an exceptional team driving Agilent's mission to fight cancer and enable precision medicine.


The Global Director will report to the Chief Business Officer for Agilent's Companion Diagnostics Division and support our recent acquisition of Resolution Bioscience, a next generation sequencing (NGS) technology company.


The Global Director will be responsible for new product introduction, product management and global marketing of Resolution Bioscience's portfolio of liquid biopsy sequencing solutions consisting of laboratory developed tests (LDT), clinical trial assays (CTA) and companion diagnostics (CDx).


The role will build and lead a product management team that will strategically collaborate with business development/alliance management, product development, market access, commercial sales & marketing teams and channel partners to provide best-in-class precision medicine solutions to pharmaceutical companies, health care providers, clinicians, and patients.


The ideal candidate is an energetic, entrepreneurial and experienced leader that has executed and delivered hands-on product management and marketing of advanced molecular diagnostic assays as a CLIA laboratory testing service and/or a distributed in vitro diagnostic (IVD).



Responsibilities



  • Lead new product introductions and product marketing activities across global markets

  • Lead collaboration of aligned Rx/CDx marketing activities with pharma commercial teams

  • Build and manage a small but highly effective product management team

  • Perform technology/product market & competitive analyses

  • Define product marketing requirements and specifications

  • Establish product positioning and customer messaging

  • Create product marketing plans & forecasts

  • Plan and execute product launches

  • Coordinate marketing campaigns and programs with commercial marketing teams

  • Contract and govern relationships with 3rd party marketing and MARCOM agencies

  • Forge and maintain network of key opinion and thought leaders

  • Manage product life cycles, portfolios, and road maps
