We have an opportunity for a Territory Sales Representative to join our Industrial Filtration Solutions team. You will manage a geographic region, while also focusing on growth with existing end-users and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). You will develop strong relationships with new and existing accounts and support the installed base at the customer level. You can work 100% remote or hybrid, with approximately 60% travel required to customer sites. Any candidates living in the posted metropolitan hubs with access to an airport are encouraged to apply!

You will:


  • Develop and grow the base X-flow and Codeline businesses with existing OEMs and distributors in assigned territory as well as identify and develop new OEMs as potential membrane users.

  • Identify and develop project opportunities for Pentair membrane and systems solutions with end-users, andEPC/A&E/OEM companies for water and wastewater related Municipal and Industrial projects.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships built on mutual trust, respect, and cooperation with direct customers, consultants, engineers, channel partners, strategic accounts, and internal Pentair teams.

  • Review tender/RFQ documents includingterms and conditions of each tender/bidand summarize information for the proposal team.

  • Develop tools for promoting the organization's capabilities to targeted markets in conjunction with the sales and marketing communications teams.

  • Attend trade shows and assist in the selection and preparation of samples and promotional materials.

Key Qualifications:


  • Have earned at least a Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in a related field.

  • Have 2+ years of outside sales experience with commercial exposure to industrial and municipal accounts, end-users, and consultants.

  • Have 2+ years of experience in water and/or wastewater related products or solutions.

  • Have experience in developing conceptualized sales solutions.

  • Ability to build a strong network of customer relationships within the market segment and sales area.

  • Ability to execute contract management, bid management, and commercial discussions on bids and tenders.

  • Customer focused, results-oriented, and possess strong negotiation skills.

Travel:


  • Travel and customer interfacing should be approximately 60%.

  • International travel may be required.
