Position Description and Overview:


Press Ganey currently has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Microsoft Application Developer. This role will support mission-critical systems within Information Technology, allowing us to achieve our organizational goals. The primary responsibilities of this position are to design, develop, deploy, and maintain Press Ganey On-Line software applications. The Application Developer will also be responsible for communicating effectively with product management to determine the software application requirements, creating, and effectively executing the development plan.


We have a great team and are looking for a talented Application Developer that is seeking a fun, collaborative, and engaging role that will provide an opportunity to work on the organization's highest-priority efforts that ultimately focus on the needs of the patient. This role is 100% remote.


Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Designs and Implements Software Applications - (60%)

    • Guides technical designers/developers on a project, application, or system.

    • Leads technical discussions and presentations to groups within the company.

    • Defines or evaluates current projects from a technical perspective and communicates the specifications with technical and non-technical groups within the company.

    • Develops unit test plans for software applications.

    • Establishes release/deployment management to ensure a timely implementation.

    • Identifies alternative implementations to various deployments and evaluates the impact of each option.

    • Leads code and design reviews.



  • Mentors Software Developers - (20%)

    • Responsible for the quality of work that the team members perform.

    • Coordinates with other IT and business teams.

    • Trains other developers on standards, policies, and procedures.



  • Supports Software Applications - (20%)

    • Coordinates issue resolution process

    • Provides support and follow-up for issues.




Technical Skills Required:



  • Experience supporting mission-critical applications deployed in Microsoft Azure.

  • Demonstrated experience implementing software applications using Microsoft technologies (.Net, C#, SQL)

  • Frontend Angular UI, REST API's, and backend asynchronous processes.

  • Experience troubleshooting distributed event-driven applications.


Minimum Experience:



  • 7 - 10 years' experience as a Microsoft Application Developer in an Agile environment.


Minimum Education:



  • Bachelor's Degree
